It's doing the same thing for me I honestly don't know the solution. The only time it didn't occur is when I switched to minecraft version 1.8.4 or above. I've tried everything from completely deleting minecraft off my laptop and reinstalling it to changing back setting I changed before it occured. I use an Asus Notbook gaming laptop.
I can't look up and around in minecraft. Already checked my mouse. Here is a picture to show you my frustration :(.

Don't mind that it is a modpack, it does this in vanilla also.
