The Surface Pro 3 uses a 3:2 ratio with the screen, 2160x1440. Minecraft generally runs pretty well, but I notice, particularly when digging through the menus, that the edges of the screen are cut off, meaning I can't even read the full text of some of the menu options. I've tried forcing it to a specific resolution with my user profile, but that doesn't work since it just goes to full screen mode. I suppose I could run it in a window to get around the problem, but I'd rather not do that. Any suggestions on how to make it work correctly?
