Put the mincraft server on another computer on the same network, I launche wow from the other samething. Minecraft Server start Lagging...
Starting to wonder if it's something with my router...
Well it is not the router...
Just tried with another one same issue.
I'm starting to get desperate here.
Can't host a minecraft server and play wow at the same time on a machine like that :/
There must be something that I'm missing ...
Here's the current command line I use to start the server
"C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_45\bin\java.exe" -server -Xms8G -Xmx8G -jar "C:\Users\Geadown\Desktop\Minecraft_server\minecraft_server.1.8.4.exe" nogui
Anyone got any suggestion or ideas that I could look into , because I don't where to search anymore
It's likely your internet connection.
You're straining your bandwidth with a server and running another packet intensive game.
You've configured your server such that it will need over 8G of memory for itself at all times. How much memory does your computer actually have?
If you don't have at least 10G, maybe more, then running anything will cause Java performance to plummet.
I got 32g DDR4 atm
As for my internet connections I have 30mbs in ans 10mbs out when I monitor the network traffic its not even capping it :/
Run Task Manager, Switch to Performance Tab, click "Resource Monitor"
Figure out what is being loaded down.
I look and as you can see in the attached image, the system is not even in overload or anything else.
Maybe you can see something I don't in it
