I've been having this problem since I first got my laptop (HP, W8.1, i3-4005u, Intel 4400, 4gb RAM) and I'm finally fed up with it. I was searching around for an hour or so and see I'm not the only one but I've tried all the solutions I could. I saw a post that said they shoud have a DxDiag so here you go http://paste.ubuntu.com/10920156/ One of the solutions was to rollback the drivers but the only ones I could find were during the time I've had this problem.
