The missing "legacy.json" error is likely caused by your antivirus; you need to add an exception for the "javaw.exe" process located at the path specified after "half command" in the screenshot you posted (C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\jre-x64\1.8.0_25\bin\javaw.exe); this is normally not a good idea (excluding Java from real-time AV monitoring) but since this version of Java is separate from the system Java (probably why it started happening after updated it) it should only be accessible with Minecraft.
You could also try using the system Java by specifying it in the executable path in the profile editor; there is no real difference between the version that comes with Minecraft and the "official" Java from Oracle; actually, Oracle's Java is more up to date (update 45 vs 25).
I tried adding the javaw.exe as an exception in avast. Didnt help.
I checked the box under Java settings in the profile editor known as executable: C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\jre-x64\1.8.0_25\bin\javaw.exe
Didnt help.
After keeping those two modifications i got this: java platform SE binary stopped working

post your lattest log which contains the crash. It should help me see what the game isn't appreciating. Try reinstalling minecraft before showing the log.
this time it took longer to crash , I even thought it was fixed since i turned off avast. Seems like the same problem persists.
I did reinstall minecraft.

TheMasterCaver's First World - possibly the most caved-out world in Minecraft history - includes world download.
TheMasterCaver's World - my own version of Minecraft largely based on my views of how the game should have evolved since 1.6.4.
Why do I still play in 1.6.4?
