I just started playing minecraft yesterday with my buddies and I always play games through my HDMI and use the same samsung TV. When I tried playing minecraft it laggs so badly until i hit the esc key where the game doesnt move and frames jump back up to 60. When I try moving around it shows im getting 4-10 frames per second but i dont think that is even right. I've played some graphic intense games on my tv through my pc and haven't had the problem until now. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Also I've tried changing the video graphics on my graphics card and mincraft separate and none have worked.
ps. im using a laptop. I use my TV as a second monitor since i need to take my laptop to class.
