So I recently got a new computer that more than satisfies the requirements for Minecraft, and downloaded it. It loaded the first world fine and I played for a bit without issue. The next day, I went to play and no blocks would load. The world was just black below and when I went to quit to the main screen, the game crashed. I tried doing research on this and mostly found references to AMD drivers, which isn't helpful considering I have an NVIDIA gpu.
Figured since you were able to find such a quick fix for my previous issue, you might (if I'm lucky) be able to help with my new one. So the chunks load perfectly, I have great FPS, but I'm having some delay in game. For example, I will go to cut down a tree, and every time I destroy a block, it reappears for a second, then disappears. Any thoughts?
Sorry for the delay. It is single player, which is why I thought it was weird. I used to play Minecraft on a MUCH worse computer of mine and I never had this happen in single player before.
I am also occasionally having an issue where the game has little momentary freezes, usually in rapid succession. I will be walking along and it will lock up for about a second, then work fine, then lock up a few seconds later (again, only for a second), about half a dozen times before going back to normal.

Does F3+A do anything? This is supposed to force reload your chunks.
Yes!! The game still crashes when I try to go to the menu, but that is a very minor issue. Thank you very much for the help!
So F3+A did the job? Thats good.

I have never had that happen in single player, only in MP. Is this MP or single player?

The only freezing like that that i know of single-player is when generating chunks, but if its a block acting like that i would not know.
