i haven't played minecraft in a while (2-3 months) decided to play it and when I load into a world, be it single player, multiplayer, flat terrain, or anything in between it doesn't render. all the blocks are either invisible or a solid black in color. also when I hit esc to view the options menu none of the text is loaded, the options menu shows text when I try accessing it prior to loading a world but then disappears after loading into a world.
I'm not sure what to do or what could have caused this.
I'm running minecraft 1.8.4
my videocard is a radeon HD 43/4500 with AMD CCC 13.9 drivers.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both minecraft and my video drivers with no success

I'd recomend trying the other 1.8 versions,or 1.7 even, since 1.8 might not work for you.
