Well, I just got Minecraft for PC and am already having problems. I'm having severe mouse lag and I can't figure out why. I've tried lowering all settings as low as possible, but still no help. It runs perfectly fine on higher settings as long as I don't move my mouse. I've checked all over the web, but none of the solutions are helpful. My PC has the specs to run this game, plus I run games that are much more graphic hungry than Minecraft. Any help would be extremely appreciated. Thanks.
I'm not sure if this will solve your problem, and I know this post is a bit dated, but I have been having similar issues. My PC is well over the minimum requirements to run games like Counter Strike, Battlefield 4, and certainly good enough to run Minecraft, but in the latter game alone I was having mouse lag for the longest time. I realized however that limiting my max framerate to 60 was the cause of my mouse lag as well as a visual glitch that made it seem as though I had far fewer frames per second than 60 (which was displaying in the F3 menu as 60). Even with V-Sync off the game was bugged out completely to where this visual frame glitch and the accompanying mouse lag (which caused the mouse to jump around the screen even when I moved it in the same pattern on my mouse pad over and over). Setting it to unlimited fps did indeed fix my issue completely (and I run the game at over 300 fps now).
Hope this helps! I am sorry if this doesn't help you, but I wanted to put the solution to my problem out there just in case you or someone else needed to see it. There isn't anything online that hints at the fact that fps limiting can indeed cause lag in minecraft.
