I'm running a custom modpack and recently added Archimedes Ships to it. In testing I created a ship which was 13 air balloons and a helm, and nothing else. I assembled the ship, then when I tried to make it move my game crashed with a "ticking entity" error. When I relogged it crashed again immediately with the same error. I removed the modpack and relogged, got the standard warning about blocks which will be removed, and all is fine again.
Now, I have posted on the Archimedes Ships topic for help but no one has replied. My question on this forum is: What exactly is a ticking entity? I've done a bit of searching and found this error sometimes pops up on other mods as well, so I think if I can narrow down what causes these types of errors I may be able to get Archimedes Ships working in my pack

Don't quote me on it but I think it means loading an entity.
