Some piece of software on your computer tore the connection down. This is almost certainly a firewall or antivirus issue despite the fact that you think you disabled them and tested. AVG for example is running many different components (e.g. AVGIDSAgent) on your computer and they likely have individual disable controls, not one master switch you can flip off.

on a side note, this happened when I installed java 64 bit, I already had 32 bit
