I am having trouble with connecting to servers, every time I try to connect, I get the following message

Anyone have a solution?

Check your java version, make sure it's the proper architecture (32bit or 64bit) and up to date. Check you don't have something running off the same port. Check to make sure you're using the correct MC version to connect to the server.

Erm. All of yous are wrong. If you go to minecraft.net you would know that the servers are down for maintenance.

Updating Java did nothing, and when I tried connecting to the test server it says Disconnected

maybe if you tried answering some of the questions, what version of mc are you running, what version are you trying to connect to, what version of java are you using 7 or 8 32 bit or 64 bit. what launcher are you using, the curse launcher, the default launcher, atl, ftb, or technic, or even the new microsoft launcher, other than that what about your firewalls and your network settings, are you using a valid account on a valid launcher? there has been questions asked that you dont provide answers to, you gotta help us help you, instead of complaiing that its not resolved you can get more proactive in helping people help you. but thats just me. do what you please in the end, at least i can connect. also are you even able to connect to the servers? like is it whitelisted, or are you possibly banned

can you give us a HJT report. How to get one is in my sig.

1. Any server at all

2. 64 bit

3. Default Launcher, no mods,

4. I turned off my firewalls and anti-viruses to see if that was the problem, it was not

5. I've tried many servers without whitelisting, and servers I have not been to

Run a malware scan with malwarebytes.

I ran a malware scan and I am still having this problem
