I have been searching for a answer most of the night and had no luck in this matter. I am running Linux Mint 17.1 Cinnamon and have a nVidia GTX 760 and using the proprietary drivers for it (the regular ones, not the ones marked updates). When I exit the game my screen becomes messed up, literally I am scrolling down to reach my start bar. Now I know how (and have configured my display configuration as well as writing to xorg) but after play MC, even if I don't maximize the screen it resets my configuration.
correct nvidia configuration:
ViewPortIn: 1920x1080
ViewPortOut: 1822x1024+49+27
Panning: 1920x1080
after playing MC ViewPortIn and Panning revert to 1822x1024
There has got to be a way of fixing this
