I didn't like most modpaks I played (felt like they were adding useless mods and leaving out ones I liked) so I decided to make my own custom modpak (for myself only) and it went great until I wanted to use Buildcraft pipes. As soon as I placed it I got the dirt screen and it said a fatal error has occurred then took me back to the main menu. I tried sever times to get it to work even loaded a backup version of the save and got the same result. Finally I gave up on Buildcraft pipes and tried to use Thermal Expansion pipes and the whole game crashed and exited to the desktop (retried this several times too). I even deleted a few mods reloaded the game then added them back in and retried, but got the same result and I even used newer and older versions of the ones I had (if possible).
Also Tinkers' Construct often made my game crash when I used the Smelter, but it always worked correctly on reload (for a while).
What is causing this? And how to fix?
Another question (not main problem): Why does the game crash on start up when I add Galaxycraft and/or Archimedes Ships?

For starters, I suggest you download OpenEye. It reports crashes to the OpenEye website, and if you're lucky, an advanced modder might be able to help you. For now, post a reply on the crash report: I may be able to help you.

So basically put this on the openeye website? and include the crash files? (I have several since I tried many time to get it to work)
or just add the crash files here?
Yeah, downgrading the forge file worked. Why does the newest forge make the game crash like that?
