I've been experiencing a client crash which annoyed me so much that I actually created an account just to post this.
3 days I've been searching for a solution but it all leads to nothing but ONE solution, which I will mention later. I'm a noob in this forum but been playing the game since BETA, stopped until 1.6 updates and decided to play it back now in 1.8 version of minecraft.. But unfortunately, the trouble I am facing is making it impossible for me to play, to be specific, to CLICK ANYTHING WITHOUT CAUSING IT TO CRASH.. The only thing I could do now is, log in, and stare at the menu.. doing absolute nothing..
Alright, now, I will provide as much details as you might need :
#1 System specification
Processor : AMD TURION II Dual Core M520 2.30GHz
RAM : 2GB(1.8 Usable)
System : 64-bit OS

Halp meh.. this thing ruein ma lief and now im gonna watch some twilight.. I don't know who does that, but apparently I do now..sooo..bye..
that error report is pointing at your gpu drivers, please post a dxdiag log, also post the contents of C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\hs_err_pid4204.log
Apparently I can play Tekkit/Technic Pack and all of that super pack modded minecraft normally BUT a pure minecraft..
EDIT:
nvm..spoke too soon..
try turning off your massive texture pack. could be loading too many things also lower the allocated ram for minecraft. try playing a minecraft version at 1.7.1 instead of 1.8. get the latest catalyst from AMD. check if your processor needs updating...as well openGL and LWGL can cause problems. also your cpu is quite old 2009 is when that one came out check and see if you cpu is even supported by minecraft anymore. also you have a 64 bit OS try installing the 64 bit java. it will allow you to use higher increments of ram and allocate things on your computer alot better with it.

I didn''t even had the chance to use or even change a texture pack.. I can't basically click anything without causing it to crash..
Regarding the java and amd drivers, I've perfectly done them.. Even tried to install an old drivers(that I used to use before when playing MC 1.4) yet no success..
Systemrequirementslab confirmed only my RAM is a problem for Minimum Requirements which is fine by me. Does OpenGL thingy is related to this problem may I ask? I still have the classic game cs1.6 and when I launched it, it turned out that I can't run in OpenGL mode..

ive said you need to lower your ram . allocate less youve only got 1.8 gb of ram. half of which is being used by the OS. which is not letting you run minecraft. if you add the java argument to make minecraft run with less than 1gb. try chaning it to -Xmx500M -Xms500M and seeing what happens. older versions of minecraft prior to 1.7.1 will allow you to play them without any openGL issues the upgrade was done at 1.7.2.minecraft uses openGL no matter what its ust after 1.7.2 the openGL was updated from OGL 1 to OGL 2 and some older hardware is not compatible with that. although the graphics MAY be outdated if it still doesnt work youre giong to have to update it. yo say youve installed them and done what you needed to do perfectly so ill assume your things are up to date and should be working properly. so lower the ram needed for minecraft in its arguments play an older version of minecraft and if youve done everything perfectly your minecraft should run.
This is a Windows 8 fix, but the link embedded within this is a Windows 7/Vista catalyst...or so It seems if I'm interpreting the words in the URL correctly.
It seems you're running everything similar to this person except part of the OS, it might be worth a shot.
Sorry I can't be more help....this is all I found in my googling.

Backup Saves & Resource Packs
Delete the C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft
Delete the C:\Users\Home PC\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft
Delete the launcher and all of its contents
Reinstall the launcher

Tried on 1.6.* and im getting this error :
"Error: Could not find or load main class Xmx500M"
You made a typo in the JVM args. it should have "-Xmx500M" not "Xmx500M"
Yep ma bad.. Fixed that and still resulting the same error as stated originally from my first post..
:/
So I'm not finding a lot on this, other than ATI hasn't been the best at running Minecraft, especially recent versions.
I did find this:
