I was thinking about getting the Orespawn mod but that's when I realized no ores, structure, etc. wouldn't generate in my Modded Minecraft world. Is there any way to reset the world without affecting the area I explored/built? I know about the MCEdit thing or whatever it's called, but I don't wanna accidentally reset a chunk, and I am very used to my world's generation.
P.S: I use Minecraft Forge and Liteloader!
If you know a good idea (or an expert with MCEdit) please try to help, as it would be greatly appreciated!
I think new additions would be able to spawn in places where you either haven't explored, or have barely spent any time in. Of course, I'm not 100% sure but i thought I heard this somewhere else.
Travel to new chunks via nether. Go far enough and you WILL hit new chuncks.

The olddays mod is dead, sorry to tell you.
The far lands generation was epic, why not re-add it?
If Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter were all destroyed, 90% of teens would
go insane. If you're one of the 10% that would be laughing at them,
copy & paste this into your signature and hope it happens.

I think your correct, but I explored most of the world already, but I guess I could edit the chunks I haven't really used.
Any other suggestions?
You can't unless the mod retrogens.
English? Sorry, I'm a bit new to "mod" language.

Go to your regions folder and pull out the regions you want to keep. Regenerate the world, shut down, insert regions, restart.
It is correct to say, newly generated chunks will generate under the newly input rules.
Edit: Another option, WorldEdit > Schematic. //paste
Thanks for the idea, I'll try it when I have time and I'll let you guys know when I got it
Sorry, it means the mod will generate its ore in chunks that are already generated.
There is no way to reset the chunks without deleting the every thing in it.
sorry about that.

How will I be able to tell which regions are what? Or do I pull all of them out?
