When I updated minecraft to 1.8 the world started to freezing constantly every 10 to 8 minutes and sometimes even freezes to where you have to shut down the mac . and other worlds don't not freeze its just this one world . And little to no mobs spawn. Also when i uninstall optifine it still does the same. I have also deleted everything in .minecraft besides the saves folder. Deleted the old version of java and installed the new version. Still noting helps.

There's not a lot here to go off of.
1) Is this happening in a new world or a pre-existing one?
2) Check your difficulty. Less mobs spawn the easier you make it.
3) Did you update optifine when you updated minecraft?
4) How are you launching MC? Are you using the launcher or a modded launcher?
5) Do you have logs or crash reports?
All of the above may help. Certainly when posting, the more details means we'll be able to give you more information.

1.This world was made before 1.8
2.No hostile mobs are spawning
3. yes and no . in 1.8.1 i left it untill 1.8.2 . Now i update optifine each time
4.Stock Minecraft launcher
5.No Minecraft freezes the computer so no crash log can be saved. So i have to shut down the computer.
any other info needed
