I am trying to solve this issue where the normal minecraft music keeps playing even when I have a pack selected.
As you can see, I have every slot filled with the same 3 songs:
Sure my songs still play, but I really don't like the normal music and I hate it when I want one of my good songs to come on, then the bad music comes on. How do I make it so I will never have to listen to the default music again?
I don't know for sure, but one thing I do know is that even when you have a resource pack with music equipped, the normal Minecraft resoruce pack still exists in your world. If something is incomplete or not working correctly, it will be replaced with the default texture/sound. But in all seriousness, if you wanted really badly to make it so it forces your music to play, then you could try just deleting the file of the default texture/sound that replaces yours. DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS WORKS! I HAVE NOT TESTED IT! THIS IS VERY RISKY CONSIDERING THAT IF YOU DO THIS YOU WILL NEVER HAVE THAT FILE AGAIN! BE CAREFUL!!! I hope this helps!
