I tried to search for this, I'm sure other people have had this problem, but I couldn't find anything. The this chunk that makes up the northwestern part of the new structure I'm building is forcing a different texture rotation for the blocks I place inside it. What causes this? Also, is there a way to fix it?
I apologize for it being night in the game, I didn't have any torches on me.
The bottom two blocks are regular Minecraft planks, the top 4 are chisel variants. The odd thing is this only happens in the NW chunk, the NE, SE, and SW chunks all have the same texture rotation. The orientation does not change based on the angle you place it for any of these blocks, it's static. So, that's why I'm confused.
Weird, I take it this is modded, and there are mods that rotate textures, like the crescent hammer (I think), but there shouldn't be anything that rotates them without you doing something first. Might be a mod bug?

To tell them how to live is to prevent them living.
That's what I'm thinking. I guess I'm going to have to use the large wood planks for that whole section of the house. I have a lot of mods, and I'd rather ignore it than start removing them.
During the construction of the house, the offending chunk re-oriented itself to match the others. So, the situation sorted itself out! Still, weird bug...
