"Unable to start the Minecraft Runtime enviornment this is most likely caused by a corruption. Please try to reinstall Minecraft."
Before, I could install and launch Minecraft, I was getting:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError at org.apache.logging.log4j.util.PropertiesUtil.<init>(PropertiesUtil.java:71) at org.apache.logging.log4j.util.PropertiesUtil.<clinit>(PropertiesUtil.java:31) at org.apache.logging.log4j.status.StatusLogger.<clinit>(StatusLogger.java:48) at org.apache.logging.log4j.LogManager.<clinit>(LogManager.java:44) at avf.<clinit>(SourceFile:145) at net.minecraft.client.main.Main.main(SourceFile:41) Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException at org.apache.logging.log4j.util.ProviderUtil.<clinit>(ProviderUtil.java:70) ... 6 more Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: Using incremental CMS is deprecated and will likely be removed in a future release
-----------
Here are my computer's specs:
AMD A4-5000 APU with Radeon(TM) HD Graphics
RAM: 8 GB
64-bit OP, x64 based processor
Windows 8.1
-----
Here's what I have tried to resolve my issues:
Update Java
Update drivers
Update Direct X
Uninstalling/Reinstalling
Edited Path
What else can I try to make it work? Or is my computer just not compatible? It launched once, then never did again.
