I recently bought a new computer. So far, every game I've played on it has worked perfectly at max graphics with no noticeable lag whatsoever. Except for minecraft. Obviously, minecraft is by no means a game that requires a large amount of PC power, its quite the opposite. But about every 10 seconds, my minecraft FPS will drop from 300+ to 2 or 3 for a couple of seconds before rising back above 300. Does anyone know of a way that I could fix this, or what may be causing it? Thanks
I have plenty of space on both my SSHD and my SSD, it seems to have stopped or at least decreased in frequency after I dedicated the default amount of ram to minecraft rather than increasing it

Moderatorhow much HDD space do you have? it sounds to me like something is bottlenecking the game
