I recently started playing with view bobbing enabled, after spending all my time so far (probably over 2 years) with it off. Straight away, something doesn't seem right. It may or may not be related to OptiFine, I have no idea.
When falling a large distance and looking straight downwards, the entire view, but unfortunately not the crosshair, is shifted upwards so much that it has caused me many deaths already due to missing a small water pool.
Does anyone know what's up with this? Is there a way to fix it? If not, how can I get used to it?
I hate to say it but that's just how view bobbing is, no Optifine glitch sadly. I never bother with it personally, it just feels like your constantly lagging.

I agree. I don't have a problem with bobbing and i have optifine. It's just what bobbing is. I hate to say it, but I guess you'll have to get used to it.:D
whenever i fall it changes a bit ... but nothing much and never so much as i can't see where im landing
Sorry for potato quality and terrible framerate. You can see how far backwards my crosshair moves compared to the water pool. The pool is perfectly lined up with the hole in the iron bars. Note: I did not manually move at all while falling.

[Bump] This is really starting to bug me, and I've died a lot from it.
