For several months I've been having this issue with single player. The launcher is minecraft.msi. It is not modded. The minecraft version is 1.8.3. It runs fine up until the point of when I start or run a single player world. In the process of making a world the screen will stay the same, saying " Loading world Building terrain". After a few minutes of this, it crashes. This is a sample of the launcher (1.6.11 version launcher), in the process of a world being generated:
