Best I can say is remove things one by one until the problem goes away, and then you can try adding things back. You can also try looking into the config file on whatever mod you remove that solves the problem, though it may just be an actual bug, and it could also potentially be due to two or more mods conflicting.
I've never encountered that specific bug, but I can give you the general methodology I use when trying to track down bugs.
Preventative measures: When making a modpack, I create a new version every time I change something. Effectively, I keep a series of backups so that I can check what version a bug appeared in and more easily track down the cause of bugs.
When encountering a bug and the backups don't elucidate the problem: If it's a bug that caused a crash, find the crash report. Sometimes you can relatively easily read it yourself and find what's causing the problem, but if you can't read it yourself, use pastebin or a similar site to post a full (it's important to post the whole thing) crash log and link to the pastebin in a topic asking for help.
If there is no crash report, really all you can do is google the problem and/or make a topic to see if someone else has had the same issue.
If googling doesn't help you find an answer, then you just have to work your way backwards until you get to a mod list that doesn't cause the bug, then try to re-add things (ideally doing the backup method above) until you've got all the mods back in that you can get without causing the bug.
When you find the mod that seems to be causing the bug, take a look at the config file to make sure it isn't actually an intended feature that can be toggled off.
You should also ideally test the mod that seems to be the cause by itself to see if it causes the bug on its own or if it's caused by a conflict with something else. If it's caused by the mod itself, you can report the bug to the mod author and hopefully they'll fix it. If its caused by an interaction, you might have to talk to both mod authors involved in the mod interaction. This is assuming you want to help solve the problem. If you don't really care, I suppose you can just drop the mod from your modpack and not worry about it, but it is nice to try to help the community when you come across problems.
I did a google search and didn't find any mods that remove the crosshair. Sorry. But I did see some topics that mentioned that some texture packs change the crosshair. It looks like the vanilla blocks in your screenshot are using vanilla textures, but if you have some kind of partial texture pack, you might try removing that first.
I'm not certain. I suppose you could try it, but unless a mod has actually gone in and deleted the icon for the crosshair, I suspect something else is up that prevents the crosshair icon from being retrieved.
It looks to me that little eye icon has replaced your crosshair, hard to tell really, but some mod must have replaced the default icons file, because the crosshair is on a single file with the hearts, hunger, under water, XP bar, etc, you can't just take out one without doing something to the whole file. There are mods that show different potion effects in the HUD, that one looks like the one for night vision, so some mod must be doing it. Look in the configs or options in game for HUD and crosshair. I don't know offhand either what mod it could be, since a lot of mods do that sort of thing. It might also be that the mod is showing the icon and it's just covering up the crosshair. Again, the mod options for where it shows that info would probably be the best place to look.

is there any mod that would do such a thing? like definitely would turn crosshairs off?my custom modpack is considerably large, with 144 mods...

no texture packs used,EVER!
but does that mean that if i find a texture pack that is exactly like the vanilla one,but adds in the crosshair,i can implement it?

know any good texturepacks?
Up to your preferences, but if you looking for something close to vanilla, I'd go with Faithful 32x32.
