Im at a loss. I have tried improving my internet opotimization (using SG TCP program), I have increased the amount of RAM that goes to java to 2GB, I have updated Java and uninstalled all extra/old java programs, I have tested my computer and internet speed And yet im having Extream lag issues. These Lag issues consist of the following: Block lag, teleporting back when moving too fast, people freezing mid fight (PvP) and prologued delay of sending messages in chat. The issues are universal across all servers, my MS is relatively low around the 30 range i get around 55 fps average and supposed to get 50 mbs (recent tests show 10.81) upload speed is at 10 mb. I honestly have no clue what to do at this point hopefully some one can help me out T.T
Additional info, these occurances seem to have coincided with the instillation of the new Xfinity cable, but because of tests this shouldent be the issue right ?
Considering that the lag started around the time you got your new cable, and all of the issues you just described are symptoms of a bad internet connection, then it is likely due to the Xfinity internet. Comcast can easily throttle internet connections, and it is entirely possible that even though your speedtest worked that your connection is being throttled.
However, that doesn't mean it's necessarily your internet. Check to see if other computers on your network have the same issue, or if you have the issue on a different network (even a cellphone mobile hotspot with good service will work for testing) to see if it's just your computer or your entire network.

I have the same problem, but it started when I had century link, before i got xfinity

Yep figures its exactly what i didnt want it to be. Its the internet, question is what specificly is causing the delay and how do i fix it?
