I think I've posted about this before and people actually told me that it's impossible, but trust me. It isn't. And I'd really like to fix this issue. I've made myself an awesome little modpack out of all the mods I've liked from other people's mods that I've played in the past. It makes Minecraft an even better game. But half of the time, I can't actually play it because I'm lagging so badly. The game runs fine, but mobs and blocks are frozen. I can break a block 3-5 times before it actually drops and same goes for the mobs. I can hit them many, many times. I wouldn't even be able to count and they'll only take damage once then I'll magically be dead.
I've already done the only thing I could think of; Allocate more memory. One gig to two gigs to four and then six. I even tried allocating all my memory (8 gigs) just to see if it would actually help and none of it seems to have. But I'm not stupid, I know that allocating all my memory is a bad idea, and IIRC, it isn't even supposed to be possible. But either way, I'm only allocating six gigs now and I don't know what else to do.
The "modpack" I mentioned, like I said, is just my own collection of 24 mods. Please help..
Huh, Nevermind. I don't know what I was doing wrong before, but it works fine now. It also surprisingly did give me quite an FPS boost. Thank you very much!
Edit: Nevermind. :/ Guess I was wrong. I just made a new world and I had the same issue. I ended the process because I don't have the patience for this and it turns out there was a 45k delay. Can Optifine or anything fix that too?

How on Earth could I get Optifine working with so many mods? I can't even get it working with one. .-.
Wel do I need to download a special version or something then? Optifine usually does nothing but crash for me. :c
