I am trying to download the pc version of Minecraft on my Dell Optiplex 755 running Windows 7. We are trying the demo first and it is giving me a message: Old Graphics Driver detected, OpenGL 2.0 will be required to play in the future. So, I have not tried to download the "buy" version because I do not want to waste $27.00 if it will not work on my computer. My guess is that the computer is too old and graphics card cannot be updated to play Minecraft. It is an Intel (R) GMA-3100. I am not very good with computers but can anyone provide insight for me? Do I just need a better "gaming" computer? I hate to invest a lot. This is the only game my son plays. He wants to download mods which will be my next hurdle, possibly. TIA
