I need some help with my mine craft.. I'm fairly new to it, but it's because of several reasons, including not having any local buddies. Now that i've found one, i download mc, a resource pack with his help and boot it up... but... As I grab the demo to look at it again and get used to everything, because I've yet to pay for it and do all the other kinds of things like skins n such... there's a problem.
(I'm sorry, I don't know how to do the whole drop down box thing for huge pictures, forgive me.)
but that's just in the demo. I casually brush it off and show it to my friend and he's completely freaked out. so i try out sphax, the resource pack...
(Again I apologize.) same thing applies. Also, please note, it doesn't happen to things like mobs.
Is there anything I can try? I've reset the computer, multiple times, i've uninstalled and downloaded nothing but the demo, even tried modded versions of minecraft as you could see in my taskbar. Updated my drivers to the lastest nes, given java more ram than it probably needed (3 of my 6 gigs of ram) and well... I'm not sure what else I could do to fix it.
Edit : Here are the options that i'm going with for my mc.
It would be easier if you showed us what the default textures look like.
I'm assuming you are concerned about the gridding. This happens when you have AA/AF settings in your video driver that are trying to smooth edges. MC is a patchwork of textures that have to fit exactly if you don't want to see gaps between adjacent textures. It's these gaps that create the gridding effect between the blocks.

I've seen this before, try toggling the mipmap level.

the first picture is the default texture, sadly...
