I just bought Minecraft and was hoping it would work on the first go. After various links, and searches I semi-figured out what was happening, but don't know how to fix it. I tried to update my drivers, apparently there are no updates. Looking at people with similar problems I have deduced that you may need my dxdiag.
I had the exact same problem with my computer and got it fixed about a month ago. You can get a disc to revert your computer back to windows 7 but thats the only way that you can get it to work. .

If you could help me out that'd be great, Thanks.

ModeratorYour laptops GPU is not supported in windows 8.1.
You will need to revert the OS back to 7 or lower to be able to play minecraft
