I am having trouble using a modded client in Minecraft. I am using the main Minecraft launcher, with the correct version of forge for 1.7.10. I have made sure the mods agree, and when I load Minecraft i see the Mojang screen and it lets me go to the main screen. However, When I try to create/load a world using the client, the Building Terrain disappears, shows the dirt screen for a min, then the screen turns black. When I force quit, the output log usually either says nothing, or a lot of text, followed by "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space". Ive read an article to put more space on my mine craft startup, however they said to put it after a certain line of code, but mine says "-Xmx1G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn128M" instead of the other type. I don't know if that's right or not, can someone please help?
Thanks, Gunner
PS It technically didn't crash (I force quit), and I don't know how to upload that without a crash report. It is on the Output Log, if someone knows how to upload that than that might help.
Change the part that reads -Xmx1G to say -Xmx2G or however much your computer will allow. The 1G is what defines how much ram is allocated to the game. Leave the other values alone.
