So, i have been having this problem for a few hours now, and it is bugging me horribly, to the point the games nearly unplayable. After about 30 minutes, i get rapid screen flashes and specs flashing around the screen, along with the ground turning pink, black, etc., and see-through. When i restart, it doesn't help, it will just do the same, without the ground being multicolored. I have a video of it to show as well. All i have is Optifine 1.8.1, and it happened before about a month ago, then stopped until now. I need help with this, the games unplayable.

About the Video, before you watch it, turn your sound off, as there is a really loud noise in the backround, which i did not hear originally.

Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU

Q6600

2.40 GHZ

Others: RAM: 4 GB

64-bit operating system

Windows Vista

I had 85, but I got a citation...

But I still got 1 hour of playtime and 104 people passed through the border checkpoint

I was so happy when I saw this...

Sorry to say it is VERY likely your video card going bad.... on board memory 'spiking'.

It can happen on memory overheating or overclocking too high or loss of clock control...

If you let the system sit off for 30 minutes and it goes away, definite answer.

I just tried that after i came home, and it did stop. It hasn't froze in 7 hours.

I'll buy a new video card soon, if i have the money.
But my parents are convinced its a problem with the servers...

I looked it up and it said graphics driver crashing was the problem, so i updated graphics driver, and it hasn't happened yet...
It'll most likely come back so :/
I'll still try to get a new video card so this wont happen again
