me and my brother really want to play together in the same world. i have looked up tutorials on youtube but none of them give clear instructions. i was eventually able to get my server [im hosting] on my brothers server list but it would not join ithe connection timed out was the error. i use a windows vista laptop, my brother uses an imac with mavericks on it, we both use 1.7.10 and have mods. pls tell me how to!!
2.) Have your brother go to Multiplayer
3.)Wait 1 minute.
4.)At the bottom it should say LAN world open.
If that doesn't work, try having your brother put in the port number in the "Direct Connect" or "Add Server".
when I put port number in it says can resolve host name
