So having a bit of a dilemma. My boyfriend and I have a map that we play together through LAN that we have worked extremely hard on. We were playing mostly on Peaceful while building so we never noticed anything wrong with hostile mobs. However we did notice a while ago that bats and squids seemed not to be spawning anymore, but it didn't bother us too much. Well the other day we decided now that I have a much better computer that wouldn't lag and that most of our building was complete, to turn the game on Easy so that hostiles would spawn. Much to our surprise hostiles did not spawn either and if they did it was in incredibly small amounts. Cave systems and even under the ocean were completely barren. Me being the person who fixes our Minecraft when things are buggy and who deals with mods decided to see what could be the problem. At first I thought it to be a problem with our mods, however after testing this theory on a separate test map, I learned that it is an isolated incident. On Easy in a test map, the appropriate amount of hostiles were spawning including all the ones added from our mods(which are also missing in our normal map.) So I cant blame it on our mods directly per say. However I'm still wanting to get this fixed. If anyone knows the coding of individual Minecraft worlds, I would be more than happy to upload our world's file for you to look into to as well as our mods. We would really like to not scrap this world as we have done so much already and this wouldn't be the first map we lost(there's a reason my bf is not allowed to touch the .minecraft folder lol.) So if anyone could help it would be much appreciated!

Sorry its hard for you to read Squ1dy. Basically only one of my modded worlds I have has little to no hostiles(including modded ones) spawning on Easy mode. All my other modded worlds are fine despite having all the same mods. That makes me think something is wrong with the world, not the mods. Here's the list of mods just for your information. Keep in mind I am using Minecraft 1.7.10 and that some of the mods are 1.7.2 but still compatible:

I use Voxelmap with Liteloader as well. I didn't add them to the list since you don't install them like traditional Forge Mods. Hope this help.
But what mods do you have?
