I'm hoping someone has seen this problem before and knows a fix.
My wife and I have a Realm but it seems that lately, perhaps since updating to 1.8.2, that we cannot be in the same chunk as one another while logged in.
For example, if I am in chunk X by myself, and my wife is in chunk Y loaded completely separately from me, say a couple KM away, the game runs fine. However, if she is also in chunk X, or near chunk X, then it lags severely. It also works fine if one of us is in the nether.
We are playing using the same internet connection. We have reset both computers, as well as the modem, and there is no change.
After searching the forums I haven't been able to find this issue, but I'm hoping that if it's a bug, it's known.
Does it give ANY kind of error in the Launcher? It might be because the connection is a bad one and the game takes more than 60 ticks to render 2 players in the same chunk using the same IP.
