I'm trying to make a modpack for my GF and I to play on with our favorite mods, I have hit a wall in getting it to work though. I even removed AM2 which is one I really wanted and it wont work. Everything I read says that it is my java version, but I have it at the latest JRE7. I have attached a link to the log with the error and a screenshot of me java folder.

Any help would be much appreciated, I really want to get this working so we can play on it.

Nope, no texture pack. I'm double checking my drivers and restarting, I'll drop my mod list here after that.

It doesn't crash, just when I hit create new world I get thrown back to the main menu without anything happening.

Even the ones that have meta_inf and all those weird folders in them? do I just do a merge?

Ok, removing optifine, I thought it was a dependency for something, which is why I had it.

Ok, so that definitely changed it. still can't make a world though, the log file is 1.3mB so pastebin wont take it, here is the first and last bit though: http://pastebin.com/vyrcAf9m it's as if no custom textures worked? I thought I got everything, but did I miss a lib or api or something?

That was one, yeah. And I thought java 8 didn't like modded minecraft? did they fix that and should I upgrade?

I think carpenter blocks is what I was originally looking for actually! looks way better, she just had the request of sloped blocks for pretty buildings and ramps
