Ok so its been a while since my friend has had internet but ever since the release of 1.7.4 + this includes all verisons and snapshots up to 1.8 he cant play them he downloaded them when he had internet he has hes internet once a week and he can only play them then other wise he gets this issue


ready to update & play 1.8.1 or

ready to update & play 1.8

ready to update and play 1.7.10 the list goes on from 1.7.4 and above

he can play all of these verisons fine when he has internet but when its not on its the updates are broken if anyone knows how to fix this issue me and my freind would be very happy because he gets bored without minecraft

ps. my ideas is its a issue with the java verison or some issue with the launcher or the verisons folder but im not sure..

post the launcher log from a run that does not work.

there is no launcher log But i managed to fix the issue the way i did it was by changing the verison name to 1.7.2 then used the old launcher and copyed my .minecraft libares and bam worked thanks for the support though!
