When minecraft is in fullscreen mode, the FPS is capped at 60 FPS, but when I change it to windowed mode the FPS goes to >700. I have VSYNC off and unlimited FPS in both the video settings, and in my GPU control panel.
My system settings are: GTX 970 and i4790K with 8 gigs of RAM
I want to play at higher than 60 FPS because i have a 144hz monitor. How do I change to get unlimited FPS while in fullscreen mode?
try to turn off vsync in your display settings on control panel If that does not work goto nvidia control panel and disable vsync active. It keeps the FPS from going over 60 to prevent screen tear.
