So i really want to play the teramia mod pack but i need the latest version of forge 1.7.2 (Which i am using the 10.12.2.1147 one) and I installed it and it said installed properly and such and when I try to run the forge profile it goes but then it goes away and then nothing else happens. its been 30 minutes now and still nothing popped up. my minecraft is brand new as I reset my .minecraft folder and i also redownloaded the whole thing. please help I want to play the modpack. (there is nothing in my minecraft mod folder btw)

btw I am using windows 8 and a 64 bit, and I am unsure what java version I have. I can play un forge profiles fine.

thank you. I think I am using java 8. i am going to try and install java 7 as I heard forge does not do good with java 8. sorry for bad englishs.

ok i have installed java 7 and i am now reinstalling MC.
