So minecraft runs fine, i usually get between 60 and 70 Fps, the only problem is i get super slow chunk updates. Whenever i punch something like a chicken for instance it takes about a minute for the chicken to make a noise, and another couple for him to finish running around. And whenever i punch out a block its almost like I'm on a laggy server or something, the block is gone, but the item take a minute to pop out. Please help. Also i have switched how much ram I'm using to 4gb. and i have gone into the nvidia control panel to change stuff like minecraft.exe and the javaw file to my nvidia gpu.
The only thing that confuses me is that when i go into F3 mode ingame, the CPU in the top right is labeled as my I7 for some reason.
Here's my specs,
GeForce GTX 850M
Intel(R)core(TM)i7-4810MQ CPU @ 2.80GHz
8.00 GB RAM (7.89 GB usable)
1920 x 1080, 60Hz
Microsoft Windows 8.1
Additionally I have the latest versions of everything on my computer. including Java and Nvidia.
Thanks for helping
