Can't Install Tekkit using tekkit pack.

I've been playing Tekkit for a few days now, but When I went to play this morning, it came up with this Message:
"an error was raised while attempting to read pack info for modpack tekkitmain, build 1.2.10; connection timed out"
I deleted the pack and tried to re install but the same result. i thought it was my Anti-Virus But is still doesn't work when it's disabled. What am I doing Wrong?

Are you getting the mods separately, or are you using the Technic Launcher? I'd recommend the Technic Launcher while playing Tekkit.

In order to install tekkit I reccomend you download the Technic Platform it is a launcher that has tekkit.
