I have this graphics glitch (see picture), sometimes its bigger than that, sometimes smaller, sometimes different colors, but always on the left side of the screen. It usually only appears for a half a second then disappears, and it seems like lighting triggers it (moving from dimly lit area to bright area, etc). I have Optifine and small resource pack - both helped with my FPS - but the glitch was there when i was running completely vanilla - didnt seem to get worse or better.



The laptop is a older laptop (HP Pavilion DV6000 Special Edition), with integrated graphics (Intel 945GM) - which im pretty sure is the root of the problem, im just seeing if there is a way to remedy it. Any help would be wonderful.

Did you try lowering every setting to an absolute minimum and is this only happening with minecraft?

If i was you i'd probably be looking for an upgrade cause your current laptop seems very weak.

Yeah, the settings are at minimum, and this only happens on Minecraft. I have a better desktop, but sometimes i need to play on the laptop.

It could just be the fact that your laptop isn't fit for MC...really. If your graphics isn't up to speed, it's normal to have graphical issues.
