It does this constantly and it just started on my 2014 Macbook Pro 15 in Retina i7 with the 2GB Graphics card (top of the line MacBook Pro).
Additionally, I have occasionally seen this on my 2011 iMac and 2012 older MacBook Pro.
I have adjusted settings on all when it happens and it affects nothing. I have added memory up to 8GB. Also, my MacBook pro is getting 120 FPS (V-sync disabled). I have latest Java as well. I adjusted the view settings down and it did not affect this. For the first few days Minecraft played well.
If you notice it "pauses" once at the start and once at the end. It is minecraft and not the video.
I have tried to follow this pages advice:

What can I do?
UPDATE: Reinstall appears to have worked for now.
