Hey, I just downloaded Minecraft on my Macbook and I keep getting this 'LZMA error'. I downloaded the newest version of Java, deleted and reinstalled the game several times, and I don't know how to proceed.

I followed this set of instructions: (http://www.planetminecraft.com/forums/fatal-error-help-t374768.html) which told me to input a command in the terminal that would force it to start which is:


rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/{launcher.pack.lzma,launcher.jar}

And now I get this error, which is different from the first one:

Minecraft can't get to the internet - are you behind a firewall/school network? Make sure you're on the web.

Yes, I'm behind a school firewall.

Try and launch Minecraft from a completely open internet connection. After it launches once, you should be fine to launch it from then on behind your school internet.
