Hey MF



Basically Im getting a good 70 fps but I want more. My computer has 16 GB RAM installed (4GB used when just Google chrome is open). I tried the tutorial on increasing the minecraft RAM using this code

-Xmx2048M -Xms2048M

When I try to launch I get this:



Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for 2097152KB object heap



I have a 64 bit windows 8. 16 GB RAM installed. The Lenovo Y50 Specifically is the laptop.

You need 64 bit java to use more than 1.5GB of RAM

Ok can I just install the new java 64 bit or do I have to uninstall my old java

However in F3 on the Mem: tab it will go from 1% up to 30% then back to 1%.
