So Their are two mods that i really want to play with and they are Thaumcraft 4 and grimorie of gaia 2. I have forge installed to version 1.6.4 and downloaded the mods for 1.6.4 as well. every time i go to lead the game with just grimorie of gaia 2 it works fine but if i try to install thaumcraft i get a crash report. can anyone help me out by any chance. It look like that ThaumCraft is not compatible with Grimoire of Gaia 2

that is so very unlucky !

try out this http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1291014-idfix-and-idfix-minus-mods-for-resolving-id USE THE IDMINUS VERSION! worked for me if it won't work check the configs and try to change the slot 0
