This normally happens whether it is modded or not but this is a vanilla scenario that I constantly encounter, here's the error log:

Don't reinstall minecraft, your error is Java crashing, fully uninstall all versions of java, then install a fresh version from http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
