I'm running a mac with version 10.10.2, this morning I tried loading up a Minecraft server and every single one of my servers said "Can't connect to server"
*I'm on Minecraft version 1.8.2*
FIX:
1: Download another game needing internet (Roblox, Garry's Mod, ect.) and try going into a multiplayer game.
2: If you can't go into any multiplayer game, then try restarting your router
3: Go on your Mac, connect it to the internet, and it should work!
Can't see this being on the wrong forum, since you're connecting to servers though the client. Then again, the server version of Minecraft is just a headless client, so who knows. Got a few questions for ya:
1. Have you connected to these servers before?
2. Did you install anything recently that might be blocking them?
3. Can you 'ping' them? Do this by opening a terminal and typing ping <server address>. Don't add the port number, just use the raw IP.
4. Can you connect to them with another Minecraft client or computer?
5. Can you connect to them with an older version of Minecraft?
6. Anything else you can think of that would be helpful.
