Minecraft Launcher Problem

(Sorry if in the wrong section, not familiar with the forums). While trying to launch minecraft, I get this message in the launcher's logs: "Couldnt unpack natives! java.io.IOException: A device attached to the system is not functioning" I am on a normal launcher, non modded, and it's the first time I've run Minecraft on this computer.

Yes, I have installed a recent version. Also this computer is a few years old.

Ah, ok, misunderstood. Thought first time running minecraft meant new computer :P. But sorry, thats the only idea ive got, good luck
