So for a while now I try to play minecraft but when I try to break a block it instantly reappears. I am playing single player and I already tried quitting the game and restarting and I also uninstalled it and reinstalled it. I tried installing optifine. I saw some people say allocate more or less memory to minecraft but I have seen both and don't even know how to do it. My specs: Intel Pentium Processor 1.7GHz, 8GB DDR3 L Memory, Intel HD Graphics Graphics card. Can someone help me please?
1. Start up the Minecraft launcher and go to Edit Profile on the desired profile you want to use.
2. Once you click that there will be a box that says Java Settings (Advanced), in that box click on JVM Arguments.
3. There should be something along the lines of "-Xmx1G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn128M", if not that's fine as long as it has the -Xmx1G in the beginning or something similar to that ( like for example being displayed in megabites instead of gigabites: -Xmx1024m ) from there I'd go ahead and replace the -Xmx1G with -Xmx2G, this will allocate 2G instead of 1G for your Minecraft. Hopefully this was helpful. I had that block lag earlier this morning and this made it better, now the blocks only reappear for the first 2 minutes or so of starting up the world, afterwards you're good (:
