Hello! So i have a modded minecraft survival that i am playing with around 140 mods, many of them are just plant mods and other things that shouldn't use this much ram. I'm using around 6.7-7.1 GBs of RAM which is ridiculous, there has to be something wrong with it. Currently, I have nothing that is constantly loading chunks (example: bc quarries). I checked task manager and Java is using an insane amount of RAM (like 90% or so, whatever equates to 7 GBs). I just want to know, is this normal for Java/Minecraft to be using this much GBs of RAM, even though it is modded? And please if you have a modded world like i do, let me know how much mods you have and how much RAM you are using. Thinking of getting an extra 8GBs of ram now..... Thanks!
P.S using the latest Java 7, with Windows 64-bit Ultimate. Incase you didn't know already, i have 8 Gbs of RAM.
